Because he could be very hard on people around him, Steve Jobs may not have been someone who we’d draw up as a perfect human being. But he sure demonstrated much about what we’re ultimately capable of. That’s the part of Steve Jobs that we should consider paying great attention to, learn from and be thankful that he shared with us. A wonderful example of what we all can be and achieve…
Steve probably wasn’t any smarter or have a better working brain than the rest of us. What he was though was genius at tapping into the capabilities of his mind which helped him to think differently. Driven by personal passion for beautiful designs and on a quest for perfection (“getting it right”), he left behind a legacy, products and a company which puts him into the same conversation as Thomas Edison and Henry Ford.
He was able to locate and connect with his insight and focus and trusted his intuition more than mere mental processing power. Along with relentlessness and an ability to filter out distractions, he led the production of astonishing (“insanely great”) products, great marketing and wonderful customer experiences.
Much has already been written about the man before now. This is intended to remind us to consider his life and accomplishments from a different perspective. That maybe he left us with the greatest product of them all: food for thought. That perhaps most of us are selling ourselves short; settling for much less than we realize.
Thank you Steve Jobs for showing us how to think different and reminding us of how much more we’re capable of!!

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. While some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.” – Apple Inc.
